YardUluv

Model, design, price, sell and maintain the yard you love.

Four steps. The first works today. The other three are what we’re building now.

1. Their yard, modeled

Illustration of a sample yard on the model, measured Angled 3D illustration, not to scale: the height of the buildings and the slope of the yard are exaggerated for clarity. The same sample property, before any design: the ground, a house with a gable roof and an attached garage at the back of the lot, a driveway down to the street, and one tree in the front yard. The front yard falls gently toward the street, shown by two contour lines and by the edge of the model. One measuring line along the front of the house reads 40 feet. A second line, from a point on the first line down to the street, reads 20 feet at a 4 percent slope. Street Illustration Scans kept private 40 ft 20 ft · 4% slope 1

Before a visit, we build a 3D model of the property from free public mapping data: the ground, the house and the trees. Two taps on the model give the distance and the slope between any two points.

Works today. For now, we build each model for you, and Charles shows it to you in person.

2. Your design on it

Illustration of a sample front yard, with a new planting bed designed on it Angled 3D illustration, not to scale: the height of the buildings and the slope of the yard are exaggerated for clarity. A house and garage sit at the back of the lot, with a driveway down to the street. A new planting bed along the front of the house is outlined in pink with steel edging and six shrubs. Three tags, each joined by a short line to what it measures, read: bed 324 square feet, edging 56 feet, and haul-off 2 loads from a pile of old sod near the street. You’ll draw beds, edging, plants and patios on the model, using the items you sell. The quantities will come from what you draw.

Being built.

3. Your prices on every item

Steel edging Sample prices

From the model 56 ft

× From your price list $12.00 per ft

= On the estimate $672.00

Labor: 56 ft × 0.05 h per ft = 2.8 h

The same math runs on every line of the estimate.

Illustration with sample prices.

Each item will be priced from your own price list, with labor hours. Change the design and the total will change with it. It’s plain arithmetic you can check, line by line.

Being built. The slope shows on the model, but YardUluv won’t price the slope for you. Grading will go on the estimate as its own line, from your price list.

You’ll walk your customer through their own yard, your design and every line of the price, then hand them a one-page itemized proposal, ready to sign.

On a phone or tablet

YardUluv runs in the web browser on a phone or tablet. Once a property is loaded, it opens again without a signal.

Works today.

Built for the sale

YardUluv isn’t the software you bill or run crews with. It’s built for the sale itself, and it’s meant to work alongside the estimating and office software you already use.

Not a survey

Measurements come from public aerial photos and elevation data. They’re drafts for designing and pricing, not a survey. Confirm every quantity on site before your customer signs, and don’t use them to settle property lines.

Common questions

Do I or my salespeople need CAD skills?

No. We’re building it for people who’ve never used CAD. Measuring on the model takes two taps, and Charles can show you.

Do I have to switch software?

No. Keep what you use. YardUluv is for the sale, and we’re building it to work alongside the software you bill and run crews with.

Who sees my prices?

Charles and Darian, the two owners. Your price list stays yours: we use it to build your estimates, and we don’t sell it. Your written terms will list every outside service that handles your data.

Where do you work?

Northeast Ohio: Kent, Akron, Cleveland, Canton, Youngstown and the towns between. Charles sets up each company in person.
